Hiking and cycling
Around La Cipière are multiple hiking possibilities. You can walk straight into the woods and fields. There are many marked but also unmarked paths and trails. The quiet country roads are ideal for people who want to discover the area by bike. There are also many tracks to discover by horse and local guides organise tours.
Landscape with many surprises
If you want to take a hike you may start from our premises into the forests and the fields. We collect many hikes by making photos and descriptions, all indicated on maps. The hikes are close by and mostly marked and there are dozens of routes to choose from. The same goes for cycling possibilities. The picture shows Château Laussel as seen from Commarque. Commarque can be visited and forms a mixture of a castle and ruins.
Hiking
The landscape is very varied. Whilst hiking on the quiet country roads and forest paths, the woods sometimes open up and offer wide views. There are many marked trails in the area. Via this website you can have a look.

The valley of the Vézère river with surrounding hills offers excellent opportunities for bike enthusiasts in making long or short trips. There are many small roads with little traffic which lead you through the beautiful country site. The cycle routes are to be found on Routeyou and Garmin, set out by visitors of the region. Also for the ones who have an E bike there are lots of cycle paths set out with road signs and on map.

PDF Horseback riding
The Perigord Noir is excellent for horseback riding. There are quite a number of riding schools close by, which organise pony and horseback rides. Three schools are within a circle of 10 km of us. The link below shows one of these horse riding schools.
